Prayer is very important to the Lighthouse Church. Our long term vision is to become a centre for prophetic intercessory prayer. The need to respond in prayer is vital for a healthy Church and this is why we have introduced 'Prayer Chain'.
The Prayer chain is where a need is prayed for by one person and then passed onto another for them to continue the prayer. As the information is passed through e-mails and is therefore effectively in the public domain, the information could then be forwarded to anybody, it is advisable the items are general and do not disclose personal of sensitive information.
The prayer response is therefore not so much a prayer chain as a prayer 'scramble'.
Everybody is alerted and rallied to pray for a given situation as it arises. Our response is to pray immediately we notice the message.
We are very privileged within The Lighthouse Church, to have so many prayer warriors and intercessors. We are a praying church which grows and flourishes under the covering of prayer.
