The express Alpha course is a 6 week introduction to the Christian faith and an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, non-threatening, low-key, friendly and fun. We meet at the Mayfly Pub where people can eat together at the beginning of each session, which gives us an opportunity to get to know each other. This is then followed by an informal relaxed discussion.
A handbook is given to ensure that you can take it at your own pace. The course is not heavily academic and requires no previous knowledge or study of Christianity.
The Lighthouse offers regular Alpha courses. We are committed to a joint Christian witness to the community and to offering an on-going evangelistic opportunity.
