Wholehearted is moving towards being a 'youth' group. Presently it is for school years Y4-Y8 and therefore spans the junior / senior school divide. In September 2009 we will not move younger children up from KidzQuest it will become a Y5-Y9 age group.
Presently we meet on Sunday mornings and alternate weekly between bible study and socials.
The aim of the Bible teaching weeks is to equip the group to consolidate the bible knowledge they've acquired as children and to apply it to a daily walk in relationship with Jesus (for example, we've been looking at how we involve Jesus in all the activities of our daily lives and how we hear His voice).
The socials are important to build relationships within the group, and have included ball games, messy games and sweet making.
